ABOUT US

A creative family on a journey — with hands in clay, eyes on design, and hearts full of stories.

We’re the family behind Los Bonsoes — a mix of natural building, graphic design, storytelling, and slow-made goods. What started as a travel blog has grown into a shared space for everything we create and believe in.

Here’s a glimpse into who we are and what we do:

Art by Samson

Simon builds with earth. Literally.
He works with cob, lime, and reclaimed materials to bring warmth and soul into spaces — from family homes to damp basements in need of breathing walls. His hands are always in the dirt or on a tool, making things from scratch with care and craft.

When he’s not building with natural materials, he can be seen welding — creating artistic, functional pieces in metal. He can build almost anything, really — from intuitive structures to bold one-of-a-kind objects. His creativity shows up just as much in the way he works as in what he makes.

Bönsøe – Graphic Design

Kat works with visual identity, books, and creative communication.
With over 17 years of experience in the design industry — and the past 7 years as a full-time freelancer — she brings words, visuals, and ideas together to tell stories that feel just right. Whether it’s a book layout, a logo, or a wild idea — she’s probably already sketching it in her mind.

Sometimes she’s joined by Samson — her creative partner in life — who shares the same design education and brings his own hands-on, intuitive approach to the process

Los Bonsoes – Wearable chaos

Together with our son, we design t-shirts and prints inspired by the messy, wonderful things we say and do. Some are pixelated, some are poetic — all of them are a reflection of our shared sense of humor, freedom, and creativity.

Design Space

A playground for future projects.
Here we experiment, explore, and share ideas that don’t quite fit anywhere else — yet. It’s where we test what’s next.
